Deep Questions

  • 1. What is more difficult for you, looking into someones eyes when you are telling someone how you feel, or looking into someones eyes when they are telling you how they feel?
  • I think looking into someones eyes when they tell me how they feel.  Eye contact for me is hard as it is and when someones pouring their heart out to you, it’s even more hard to deal with.
  • 2. Think of the last time you were REALLY angry. WHY were you angry? Do you still feel the same way?
  • Lately, I’ve been angry at a lot of things. But mostly I’m angry at myself for making rational decisions. But the last time I was really angry is when people on my soccer team yell at me. That really pisses me off
  • 3. You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane. You have enough time to make ONE phone call. Who do you call? What do you tell them?
  • I call my parents, my dads phone because he’s more likely to answer. I’d just tell him or them, that I love them and if I don’t make it out alive, to know that I would never take back anything and I love them for being the best parents in the world, and I’d tell them to pass the message onto my sister, whom I love just as much.
  • 4. You are at the doctor’s office and he has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? What do you do with your remaining days? Would you be afraid?
  • Firstly, I would be afraid. There would be so much that I wouldn’t get to do and that would be extremely saddening. When it came to telling people, I’d let a few close ones know but I wouldn’t post it on a social networking site just because when it came down to the funeral, I’d like to see who would care enough to show up.
  • 5. You can have one of the following two things. Which do you choose? Why? Love and Trust.
  • I’d choose trust, because if you really think about it, trust is in some ways the equivalent to love. If you trust somebody so much, you can pour your heart out to them, it doesn’t matter what you look like or how weird what you might say is, the person who trusts you and that you trust will have such an amazing relationship nothing else would even matter.
  • 6. You are walking down the street on your way to work. There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street. Your boss has told you if you are late even once more, you are fired. Do you take the time to save the dogs life? Why or Why not?
  • I’d save the dogs life, and not because if I didn’t I would be a heartless bitch, but because that dog belongs to someone. Someone cares for it and would be so sad to see it gone, so by saving the dog, you’re saving someone else. And by saving anyone or anything, you’re saving yourself.
  • 7. Would you rather be hurt by the one you trust the most or the one you love the most?
  • The person I trust the most and love the most is the same person. I would love them no matter what.
  • 8. Your best friend confesses that he/she has feelings for you more than just friendship. He/she is falling in love with you. What do you (or did you) do/say?
  • I’d have to give it a second. Rational decisions are the worst I think. After coming to a conclusion I may either break a heart or I might just love them back.
  • 9. Think of the last person who you know that died. You have the chance to give them 1 hour of life back, but you have to give up one year of yours. Do you do it? Why or Why not?
  • I’ve been lucky my life, no one close to me has died.
  • 10. Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend?
  • In some situations I think I am, but like everyone else, my small mistakes have really defined who I am as a person so I’m continuously trying to fix those things.
  • 11. Does love = sex?
  • To the modern day world, yes. To me, no.
  • 12.Your boss tells your coworker that they have to let them go because of work shortage, and they are the newest employee. You have been there much longer. Your coworker has a family to support and no other means of income. Do you go to your boss and offer to leave the company? Why or Why not?
  • I wouldn’t first offer to leave, I would ask if there was any other way to correct the problem. Maybe by less time off, or a shortage in wage. I’d much rather get less days off than see a persons income and family go down the drain. But if it came to that, I would offer my job up because I believe in karma.
  • 13.When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say? Who was it? What did you have to tell the person?
  • It was about a month ago, the person will stay nameless, but I basically told them I didn’t feel the same way.
  • 14. What would be (or what was) harder for you to tell a member of the opposite sex, you love them or that you do not love them back?
  • That you don’t love them back.
  • 15. What do you think would be the hardest thing for you to give up? Why would it be hard to lose?
  • My family. Without my family, I don’t think I’d be in a good place. They are my life.
  • 16. Excluding romantic love, when was the last time you told someone you loved them. Who were they to you?
  • About an hour ago, my bestfriend.
  • 17. If there was one moment and one time in the last month what would you change and why?
  • Nothing has really happened. I’d probably change me getting injured in soccer and us losing all of our games.
  • 18.Imagine it is a dark night, you are alone, it is raining outside, you hear someone walking around outside your window. WHO do you wish was there with you?
  • I’d wish for just about any guy. Or a trained person in the military or police force.
  • 19. Would you give a homeless person CPR if they were dying? Why or Why not?
  • I don’t know how to give CPR but if I did, I would and if I didn’t, I’d do just about anything to save them otherwise.
  • 21.You are holding onto your grandmother’s hand and the hand of a newborn that you do not know as they hang over the edge of a cliff. You have to let one go to save the other. Who do you let fall to their death? What was your rationale for making the decision?
  • Holy fuck this one is so hard. I’d probably let the newborn go even if it does sound bad. I couldn’t be the person to let go of my grandma.
  • 22. Are you old fashioned?
  • No, not really.
  • 23. When was the last time you were nice to someone and did NOT expect anything in return for it?
  • Everyday.
  • 24.Which would you choose, true love with a guarantee of a broken heart, or never loved at all? Why?
  • True love, love is the greatest thing God could ever give us. And even though, it will hurt, hearts can mend and things can be fixed.
  • 25.If you could do anything or wish anything, what would it be?
  • This list would be way to long to describe, but I want to do many adventurous things, like travel, and sky dive, and swim with dolphins, and go hot air ballooning.
